BRITAIN 'IS THE MOST OBESE COUNTRY IN EUROPE'

Britain and its obesity epidemic has been in the news again during the last week or so.
Few people who are seriously overweight or who are regarded as obese, realise the health problems they are ignoring or passing off for another day, to be dealt with at a later date. Often thinking the warnings, statistics and figures don't really apply to them. The fact is, the government warnings regarding the serious (and sometimes fatal) consequences of obesity apply to anyone who is regarded as 'obese'.
Many people bury their head in the sand thinking it won't affect them, but the fact is, the longer a person who is obese postpones urgent and effective action, the more chance they have of becoming another statistic of the obesity epidemic, which can lead to early death and a vast number of debilitating conditions if left unchecked.
